Annette White

Mrs. Annette White, 87, of Graceville, FL passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 at 11:25pm in Pace, Florida. She was born April 4, 1937, in Dothan, Alabama to the late George Hamilton Harrison and the late Vera Mae Harrison. Mrs. Annette married Johner Eldridge White on July 15, 1953, and they were married for 68 years before his passing in December 2021. They had such a bond from many years together that it seemed her passing right before her birthday was her insuring that she would be spending this birthday with him and the family that had gone before her. They had five children that she loved and was thrilled to spend time with, but she missed her husband dearly. She spent many years working for Sony in Dothan, AL before retiring. So many have learned much from them directly or through many things passed down from generation to generation all the way to their Great Great Grandchildren, such a legacy that will never be forgotten. Mrs. Annette would often quote scripture from the 91st Psalms and would often pray that over her family. She loved and served God and taught her family about Jesus and fearing God and knowing that the life you lived would be one that was worthy of you ending up in Heaven one day. If there was something you didn’t share with her for fear of her worrying, when she found out, she would say, “that’s the devil just trying to keep me from knowing what to pray for”. She was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. Mrs. Annette is survived by her children, Sylvia Rolling, Debra Ann Blackman (Bobby), Renee White, Elaine Olson (Rick), and David White. Her Grand Children, Greg Rolling (Mandy), Regina Merritt (James), Taylor Brock (Clint), Jeremy Hendrix (Kim), Eric Hendrix, Crystal Zuraff (James), Alan Faulk, Jessica Hamilton (Jeff), Chris Whitney, Christopher Odum, Cameron Bolin and Ricky Olson. There are many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren as well as lots of cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Annette was preceded in death by her husband Eldridge White, her father George H Harrison, her mother Vera Mae Harrison, her brother Marlon Wayne Harrison and her sister Lula Inez McKnight. Your Life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you were loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Biss officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 1 p.m., until time of the service.
