Eloise Smith Ealum

Martha “Eloise” Smith Ealum, 75, made her entrance into Heaven on Monday, October 14, 2024, from her home in Graceville, Florida. Eloise was born in Pensacola, Florida on June 21, 1949, to the late Harvie Lewis Smith and Frances Pearline Ward Smith. She was a loving supporter in ministry with her husband for five years on the Evangelistic field. They pastored four different churches for over 37 years. She used her many talents to help support the ministry, making custom Bible covers, making crafts, baking wedding cakes, making floral arrangements and making custom embroidery. Eloise loved sharing her talents with her friends, family and church family. She enjoyed teaching her sons and grandchildren to cook, craft and decorate cakes. She loved to shop and enjoyed many special girls’ trips with her granddaughters and special shopping with Sister Lorraine. She loved everyone she met but found a special room in her heart for many. Included in her adopted family are Will, Kim and Lane Smith, and Ronnie Scroggins. A Home-going service will be held at 2 p.m., (CDT), Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church with Revs. Thomas Ealum and Thomas Moore officiating. The burial will follow in E. Mt. Zion Church Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday,1 p.m. until the time of the service. Preceded in death by her parents, three granddaughters Jessica Ann Ealum, Jennifer Ann Ealum, Julie Heather Ealum, and sister Frances Harvene Smith. She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 59 years Rev. Thomas Ealum, three sons and daughters-in-love Thomas “Tommy” Lewis Ealum, Sr (Lillie), James “Jimmy” Harvie Ealum (Faith), Stephen “Stevie” Wayne Ealum (Christie), nine grandchildren Thomas Lewis Ealum, Jr. (Patti), Jessica Jenann McClain (Dereck), Stephanie Lynn Ealum, Jacob Hollis Ealum, Joel Holland Ealum, Joseph Harvie Ealum, Joni Heather Ealum, Madison Rylie Ealum, Maison Conner Ealum, four great grandchildren Connor Lewis Ealum, Clay Grant Diaz, Janna Eloise McClain, Lillianne Lynette McClain.
