Coley Edward "Ed" Carnley

Coley Edward “Ed” Carnley, 87 of Graceville entered his eternal home on Monday, April 27, 2020. Mr. Ed was born in Jackson County, Florida on November 21, 1932 to the late Matthew Colie Carnley and Annie Leona Holland Carnley. Known for his hard work and dedication, Mr. Ed was a farmer for many years also driving a spreader until his retirement in 2000, with close to 55 years of work. Mr. Ed will be remembered but not limited to being kind, considerate, loving, independent, trusting, humorous, helpful, dependable, Godly. Coming from a generation of preachers, not only was his father a preacher but also grandparents and some uncles and aunts as well. He at times delivered words of wisdom to congregations. He was a member of the Mountain Moving Ministry. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debby Lynn Trim, grandson Josh Smith; siblings, Preston Carnley, Festus Carnley, OV Carnley, OC Carnley, Ray Carnley, RJ Carnley, Nell Eldridge and Mae Carnley. Survived by three children Glenn (Linda) Carnley, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Barry (Wanda) Carnley, Graceville, Sherri (Tim) Forrester, Hartford, AL; brother Paul Carnley, sister Odel (Lindell) Oliver; eight grandchildren, Krisy (Wesley) Hales, Phillip (Honi) Owens, Kelsi Lynn (Beaux) Dykes, Bridgett Pelham, Garett Pelham, Traviss McConnell, Toby (Misty) Smith, Daniel Smith; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Due to the Covid-19 a private graveside service will be held with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.
