Eula Mitchell

Eula Mae Mitchell, 87 of Graceville passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at herresidence following a brief illness. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Ernie Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2 p.m. until time of service. Ms. Eula Mae was a native of Texas, joining the U.S. Coast Guard after high school, where she met the love of her life, Edgar Deaver Mitchell, whom she married in 1945. In 1951 together they opened Graceville's first funeral home, Mitchell Funeral Home, where they worked together until the passing of Mr. Mitchell in 1972. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Edgar Deaver "E.D." Mitchell, son Edgar Deaver "Eddie" Mitchell, Jr., granddaughter Kasi Caroline Mitchell. Survived by children Lee Mitchell(Cindy), Bonifay, FL, Gail Corbitt(Wayne), Graceville; six grandchildren Christy Thomann(Paul), Alpharetta, GA, James Corbitt(Tyisha), Slocomb, AL, Katie Mitchell, Blake Mitchell(Aleesta), Hayes Griffin, Evan Griffin, Bonifay; five grandchildren Savannah, Gracyn, Brady, Paisley, Cole.
