James "Cliff" Kenneth Walker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James Kenneth “Cliff” Walker, 81 of Graceville went home to be with the Lord, July 18, 2022. Cliff was born in Holmes County, Florida on April 30, 1941, to the late Preston Walker and Jewel Pearl Tate Walker. A 1959 graduate of Poplar Springs High School, Cliff married his sweetheart Frances moving into the city of Graceville in which he later owned and operated the Gulf Station for several years. He became a City Commissioner and he also served as Mayor for a term. Once he sold the station, he then owned and operated Walker Septic Tank Service. He was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and sister-in-law Calvin and Faye Walker He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Frances, sons Clint Walker, Clay Walker (Teresa), Blake Pendleton (Jennifer), grandchildren Cayla Walker (Michelle), Ethen Walker (Kelsey), Makayla McCallister (Derrick), Jennifer Conner (Jeffrey), Caylum Walker, Chloe Pendleton, Easton Pendleton, one sister Ila Pearl Harrison (Randy), ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A Home-going Celebration will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Deese, Bro. Travis Free and Bro. Chester Padgett officiating. Cliff had a special passion for the youth ministry so in lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church Youth Ministry 1349 Hwy. 173 Graceville, FL 32440.
