Mrs. Ola Pearl Johnson, 95 of the Poplar Springs Community, Graceville, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Signature Healthcare of North Florida. Mrs. Ola was born in the Poplar Springs Community on September 23, 1919 to the late Bob Smith and Mary Mella Whitehead Smith. Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Mrs. Ola was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years. Home going service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Lampp and Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the church Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to Bethel Baptist Church 1349 Hwy. 173 Graceville, FL 32440. Predeceased by her husband L.T. Johnson, son Olan Johnson, grandson Timothy Lamar West and son-in-law Paul Woodham. Survived by her children Murnice Woodham, Chipley, FL, L.T. "Sonny" Johnson (Mary Lois), Sidney "Sid" Johnson(Suzanne), Cynthia West(Don), all of Poplar Springs Community, Ronnie Johnson(Beth), Chipley, Donnie Johnson, Blakely, GA, Naomi Cook(Everett), Slocomb, AL; nineteen grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
