Winifred "Peggy" Parmer

Winifred Elizabeth Parmer called "Peggy", was welcomed by her Heavenly family and friends on Monday, June 17, 2019. Born October 24, 1929 to the late Emmett and Model Brett Driskell, Peggy graduated Bay High School and then married Arthur Parmer on May 24, 1947. Peggy retired from Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee and moved to Panama City, Florida. She worked for several years for Bay County Council on Aging Respite Center and concluded her career as a caregiver for several local families. Peggy loved Jesus, family, friends, baking, flowers, word search and bingo (when candy was the prize!). She leaves behind four brothers and their wives John & Annie Driskell, Coy & Marie Driskell, Bobby & Debbie Driskell, Jerry & Evelyn Driskell, as well as many nieces and nephews to enjoy her memory. A Home-going service will be held at graveside 10 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Welcome Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Bro. Luther Stanford officiating, James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
